Life, and all that lives...

is conceived in the mist and not in the crystal.
This saying by Kahlil Gibran inverts the notion that progress, evolution, is a continuation on the straight line of what exists and is already known. It suggests, on the contrary, that the non-existent is the greater, most powerful resource for the creation of new realities.

Life-Styles come and go. The unseen reality behind all screens is in continual formation. It contains all that we have already become and all that which we can yet be: the not-yet-known potential of the possible human. This condition includes all of us, the individuality of each person and the diversity as well. It is not the finished product which characterises our being, but the progression… As in Art: starting from nothing, here and now, aiming at giving birth to the new in the course of time...
