  More about freedom...

It is philosophy’s intrinsic freedom of thinking which permits it to go ahead, beyond a declared view of reality, which makes it so valuable.

This freedom can only be exercised individually through questioning sets of beliefs into which one was born, or called later, as a result of education or a professional frame of reference. One can then become a disciple or follower of a particular school of thought, philosophical included, which is strong enough to create a convincing impression on one’s mind.

In slow motion, over a number of years one adapts, becomes even more that which one is meant to be according to the rules of the group, clan or society to which one belongs.

What then? There may be no problem. Unless something happens, out of the blue sometimes, to put one on the road again…

Freedom of thought is a chance…
