Not to walk on our own feet, is typical of many in this day and age. We walk in the footsteps of leading thinkers, and many experts tell us how we should think and behave. They provide us with life-style-models, dictate recipes for success, prescribe medicines for body-and-soul and to a large extent release us from our self-responsibility.
To walk on our own “thinking feet”,
to react from the potential of our own feelings, to act on our own responsibility, to listen to our own intuition, is neither commonplace nor usually required.
It could be important to develop the skills to do these things, thereby strengthening ourselves, ripening inwardly, becoming more human, coming into contact with our innermost Self.
